Beware of scammers! Be vigilant and don't let scammers steal your money! Recently, cases of fraud have become more frequent when attackers try to gain access to your personal data and accounts.
They can:
Send you SMS messages with links to phishing sites that look like the sites of well-known banks or organizations. Call you and pretend to be from the bank or security service. Ask you to provide your personal information, such as your account number, PIN code, CVV code or SMS code.
Never tell anyone:
SMS code from your bank. Passwords for your online banking services. PIN codes for your cards. CVV codes on the back of your cards.
If you:
I received an SMS message from an unknown number, do not click on the links in it. They called and introduced themselves as a bank employee, don’t take my word for it. Ask to call back later and check the phone number with official sources. They offer to transfer money to a “safe account”, do not do this under any circumstances.
In case of doubt:
Call your bank using the number on your card. Contact your bank's customer support through the official app or website. Block your card if you have shared its details with anyone. Be careful and don't give scammers a chance!
Additionally:
Do not install applications from unknown sources. Keep your phone's operating system and antivirus software up to date. Be careful about what information you post on social media.
Remember: scammers are constantly coming up with new deception schemes. Be vigilant and don't let your guard down!
